An advanced course for classroom teachers which focuses on selection and implementation of reading assessment and instructional procedures. The theoretical bases of the reading process and the knowledge of research in reading will be related to the design of classroom instruction. This course is to become an option in Area 7 of both the Elementary and Secondary Standard Certification programs.
