This course consists of didactic lectures, journal clubs, and small group round table discussions related to the principles of underlying biomarker discovery and development for cancer prevention and control. The overreaching goal of this course will be to assess how biomarkers are developed and used for the risk assessment, early detection, diagnosis, prognosis, and theragnosis of cancer.
