Concepts Of Morphology

The objective of this course is to present concepts of morphology as they concern cells, tissues, or organs, systems and/or regions of the human body. Necessarily, the history of the development of ideas about the selected topic will be surveyed. Inherent also in the presentation of concepts of structure will be the presentation of controversies which have resulted from differing methods and interpretations. Course material will be presented in lectures, seminars, laboratory, through selected reading or a combination of these instructional methods. May be repeated to a maximum of four hours. Lecture, four hours.
