Many physical systems in engineering involve rigid bodies in translation and rotation. Such motions are studied in this course by the use of Euler's Laws. The kinematical description of the motions utilize the concept of reference frames. The inertia properties of rigid bodies, and the energy functions for rigid bodies are covered. Analytical and numerical solutions of dynamical systems of engineering interest are considered.
