This course serves as a bridge between the basic and clinical sciences by teaching students the knowledge and skills necessary to develop into excellent diagnosticians. The course focuses on the following skills: the ability to interview complex patients, interpret history and physical examination findings, integrate basic laboratory and radiographic data, formulate a differential diagnosis and document findings. Learning activities include: interactive large group case- based learning sessions, textbook readings, small group tutorials, preceptorships, workshops, online modules, and written and practical testing.
