ANT 580 003 meets with ANT 353-001 In this course, we will cover advanced techniques in constructing a biological profile from the human skeleton, current methodological challenges and how to choose the appropriate methodologies. Techniques covered will be those commonly used in professional osteology laboratories including estimating age, sex, stature, ancestry, and pathological conditions.

Selected topics of theoretical or methodological importance in anthropology, with special attention to topics of contemporary relevance. Refer to Schedule of Classes for topics. May be repeated to a maximum of six credits.
