All A&S scholarship recipients must be a full time student and a declared major in A&S (with the exception of the Rosenbaum Scholarship).

  • William R. & Lucy Salmon Crain Scholarship in Health Sciences
    • Sophomore
    • Kentucky resident and a graduate of a Kentucky high school; preference will be given to students from Hopkins or Fleming County (or, from Hopkins or Felming County High Schools, Kentucky)
    • 3.5 GPA
    • 90% completion towards pre-professional requirements in medicine, dentistry, or pharmacy

    • 3.25 unweighted GPA in high school

  • Doris Fooks Rosenbaum and Harold D. Rosenbaum, M.D. Scholarship
    • Graduating senior from Robertson County, Kentucky AND from Adair County, Kentucky
    • Maysville Community & Technical College in Mason County, Kentucky, who are originally from Robertson County, Kentucky
    • 3.2 GPA or top 15% of high school class
    • Demonstrates substantial unmet financial need
    • Pursuing a major or minor in the College of Arts and Sciences
    • Actively involved in community service
    • May be renewed for up to four years. Students must reapply each year to be considered

  • Ralph M. Shearer Endowed Scholarship
    • Kentucky resident
    • Graduated from high school in Pulaski or Wayne County, Kentucky; graduates from high schools in the Commonwealth of Kentucky shall next be considered

    • Undergraduate or graduate (students will be considered)

    • Freshman
    • 2.75 GPA
    • Must be a minimum of 20 years old "Second Start" student (less than 30 hours earned when entering UK a second time)
    • Must work 20 hours per month off campus
  • Thomas M. and Jeri A. Tippett Scholarship in Arts and Sciences
    • Sophomore, junior or senior
    • Must take a minimum of 3 credit hours of Business courses per semester

    • 2.75 GPA
    • Students must have received less than 2 other academic scholarships
    • Participation in academic research required (faculty lab, as part of a course requirement or as an independent study project)

    • Incoming freshman
    • Kentucky resident
    • ACT of 30 or above (SAT 1190)
    • GPA 3.5

  • Robert and Anne Trunzo Scholarship in Political Science and Pre-Law
    • Open to Political Science majors or Arts & Sciences majors who plan to attend law school
    • Must be minimum junior status at time of internship or education abroad
