The Class of 2016 gathered during K Week for an opportunity to meet more of their classmates, and chat with faculty in their areas of study. Dean Mark Kornbluh welcomed the students into the College of A&S and challenged them to be engaged, critical thinkers, and to use their time wisely in exploring the world around them, as well as defining themselves in it. Our A&S Ambassadors chipped in with lots of great advice for the incoming freshman – hopefully they paid attention! Outside, they were able to make a lasting impression by contributing to the A&S Digital Quilt by drawing on an iPad and submitting their creations into a giant collective of images. There were plenty of UK-centric entries! And yes, to top it all off there was ice cream to go along with lots of freebies and chances to win prizes like an iPod Shuffle! Photographs by: Dana Rogers
