American Studies is an Interdisciplinary Program offered by the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Kentucky. 

Students pursuing the American Studies minor are trained to examine the historical and contemporary forms and issues of our national life. The program includes two seminars on selected topics of American culture. Additional coursework may come from the areas of anthropology, English, geography, history, political science, sociology, fine arts, among others.
