Steps to Apply for Your Degree

1.  Review your APEX audit to determine if all your degree requirements will be met by your intended graduation date.

2.  If the program listed in APEX is not the program that you intend to complete, please come to Rm. 202 in Patterson Office Tower (POT) to fill out a Change of Major/Minor form.  Do this before applying for your degree.

3.  Access your myUK account ( and click on Student Services. Click on the myRecords tab andwhen click Apply for a Degree on the left side of the screen.  Follow the prompts to enter your degree information.

  • If the program(s) you are applying for do not match those offered for selection, please contact or visit Rm. 202 POT.
  • If you receive a message stating that you are not currently enrolled, please complete a Readmit for Degree form that can be found in Rm. 202 POT or at

4. After submitting your degree application, you will receive a confirmation email.  Be sure to check the junk/spam folder if you do not receive your email by one working day.

5.  If the deadline has passed, you can apply for graduation in Rm. 202 POT.
