Faculty Inclusion Fellows

A&S Inclusion Fellows

This initiative is geared towards faculty (lecturers, tenure-track, and tenured) in any A&S department or program interested in actively shaping and advancing efforts to build a more inclusive College of Arts & Sciences for faculty, staff, and students. Fellows may develop and implement scholarly, community-building, pedagogical, mentoring, and networking events, initiatives, or programming. The fellowship period will serve as a professional development opportunity for the Fellow, and the College will support the Fellow’s leadership in a chosen area. Fellows are required to consider adjusting their service load, in consultation with their Chair, to account for their Inclusion project for the year in which it is conducted. Fellows receive a budget to produce and implement proposed project, as well as support and networking opportunities.

CFP for the Inclusion Fellows Initiative comes out each Spring semester. For questions, please contact Cristina Alcalde, Associate Dean of Inclusion and Internationalization, cristina.alcalde@uky.edu
