For faculty members whose period of assignment is August 16 through May 15, one-ninth of annual salary is considered to be earned for each full month of service during this assignment period. No salary is earned between July 1 - August 15, or between May 16 - June 30. (AR II-1.3-2) Faculty terminating at times other than the end of their assignment period will have their final salary calculated on this basis.
