The College of Arts and Sciences places a high priority on recruiting a talented and diverse faculty. To do so a four-step hiring process has been developed. All search committee chairs are charged with overseeing the completion of four hiring forms: Form A – Search Initiation; "Blue Cards"; Form B – Short List Approval; Form C – Pre-Interview Approval; and Form D – Pre-Offer Approval (see attachments). These forms help to ensure that the issue of diversity is given due consideration in how searches are advertised, how applicant pools are generated, and how candidates are selected. The forms are sequential and must be submitted to the Associate Dean of Faculty for approval prior to moving the search forward.
