Gender and Women's Studies Celebrates Departmental Status and Major

On October 2nd, Gender and Women's Studies held a celebration for their new department and major at the Singletary Center for the Performing Arts. Past directors and affiliated faculty over the years were in attendance to illustrate the unique history of a program that became a department through many years of volunteer effort by faculty from all corners of the university.
