Dhananjay Ravat Named Department Chair

We welcome Dhananjay (Tiku) Ravat, who starts a four-year tour of duty as the new Chair of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Professor Ravat is a geophysicist who came to UK in 2007 from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. See more details at the Chair's Message.

We also say ‘thank you and best wishes’ to Bill Thomas, who is stepping down as Chair and will be taking a year of well-deserved research leave.
