Changyou Wang Awarded IMA New Directions Research Professorship

Professor Changyou Wang has been awarded the New Directions Research Professorship by the Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications (IMA) for the academic year 2009-2010 in the conjunction with the special program “Complex Fluids and Complex Flows.” This is the second time a UK math faculty was awarded the prestigious IMA professorship. Professor Uwe Nagel was awarded the professorship for the academic year 2006-2007.
