A&S Professors Ganpathy Murthy and Joe Straley Honored by American Physical Society

Ganpathy Murthy and Joe Straley, professors in the Department of Physics and Astronomy have been named Outstanding Referees of the American Physical Society, an award made in recognition of decades of meritorious service.

304 of 55,000 referees for APS journals were recognized this year, the second year for this award. UK professor Lance DeLong received the honor last year.

The award recognizes outstanding service essential to the maintenance and improvement of one of the most prestigious journals in physics.
