The College of Arts & Sciences recognizes the value of academic advising and makes a commitment to provide accurate advising information to our students. All students are advised by professional academic advisors. First year students and students with less than 30 hours are advised by professional freshmen advisors in the Arts & Sciences Advising Center located on the second floor in Patterson Office Tower. Students with more than 30 hours are advised by professional advisors located in A&S academic departments.

Advising Appointments:
Advising is conducted by appointment and each appointment is allotted 30-minutes. Appointments can be scheduled here.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please notify your advisor in advance, by phone or email. Many questions can be answered via email.

Walk-in Advising:
Should you need to see an advisor immediately, walk-in advising is available Monday through Friday from 8:30-4:30; one advisor is on call and dedicated to walk-in appointments. Advising holds will not be lifted by the on-call advisor during priority registration.
