Welcome to the Department of Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky.

The Department of Statistics offers an undergraduate minor that introduces students to the theory and practice of the field. This provides a student with a basic understanding of statistical methods and reasoning that can be helpful in other areas such as economics, applied mathematics, life sciences, political science, psychology, physical sciences, and sociology. Also offered are programs leading to Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees.
