We encourage you to become involved in the future of the department by making a charitable contribution to the Department of Sociology. In addition to supporting the Sociology Department during the annual Arts & Sciences Phonathon, you can contribute to our future success by making a gift of cash or stock, establishing or contributing to a named endowment or remembering the program with a planned donation. Your tax-deductible gift will enable us to:

• Provide tuition assistance and support research and travel opportunities for undergraduate students
• Support the recruitment of faculty and graduate students
• Establish fellowships and research funds for faculty and graduate students
• Set up and maintain award programs and named professorships for outstanding faculty
• Recognize outstanding students, graduate teaching assistants, instructors, tutors, staff, and professors at our annual Awards Day
