Welcome to the Committee on Social Theory!  Our commitment is to interdisciplinary scholarship and intellectual community. Affiliated faculty and students span over a dozen departments and five schools. Our goal is to enhance graduate education, faculty research, and campus life.

We are proud to be in our 20th year at the University of Kentucky. Once again, we have an exciting line up of distinguished guests giving public lectures this year. The theme of our Spring Public Lecture Series and capstone seminar, ST 600, will be Law, Sex, and the Family.
