Welcome to the UK Department of Psychology’s Alumni website!

We invite you to browse these pages for information about psychology-related events on campus, including our annual Psychology Honors Day in April, lectures by visiting speakers, workshops and colloquia. These events are typically free and open to the public and we welcome your participation in them. This site also includes previous issues of the Department of Psychology newsletter, research news and announcements about the achievements of our outstanding students, faculty and alumni.

We encourage you to consider becoming involved in the future of the department by making a charitable contribution to the Psychology department. In addition to supporting psychology during the annual Arts & Sciences Phonathon, there are many ways to contribute to the department by making a gift of cash or stock, establishing or contributing to a named endowment or remembering the department with a planned gift.

Your tax-deductible gift to will enable us to:

• Provide tuition assistance and support research and travel opportunities for undergraduate students
• Establish named professorships for outstanding faculty
• Establish fellowships and research funds for graduate students
• Support activities unique to the Department of Psychology, including the Jesse G. Harris, Jr., Psychological Services Center

Finally, I want to personally invite you to visit Kastle Hall or arrange for a tour of the Harris Psychological Services Center the next time you are on campus. In addition to reconnecting with your alma mater, I think you will be both proud and impressed when you witness first-hand the intellectual energy and creative spirit that is abundant in the department.
