ResearchSteve's work has appeared in various professional journals -- including the American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, Public Opinion Quarterly, American Politics Research, International Studies Quarterly, and the inaugural edition of State Politics and Policy Quarterly. Steve is currently working on a book with two former UK graduate students, Jeff Fine (Clemson) and Mac Avery (Stockton), exploring the effect of voter turnout on minority group representation. The manuscript is under advance contract for the University of Virginia Press.
