Justin Wedeking received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2007.  His dissertation, entitled: Elite Framing and Supreme Court Decision Making, examines how legal actors frame arguments and make decisions. 

His research has been published or is forthcoming in American Politics Research, Judicature, and the Loyola Law Review. 
 
His areas of specialization are judicial behavior and decision making, judicial process, oral arguments, and the role of courts in American society.  Secondary areas include public opinion, political psychology, and political participation.
