ResearchAssistant Professor, received an M.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Political Science from the University of Iowa. He specializes in the study of international relations, with special interest in international conflict. Recent research articles have appeared in the American Journal of Political Science, Foreign Policy Analysis, and Conflict Management and Peace Science. Current research projects include modeling the rivalry process, the influence of IOs on conflict duration, and the politics of military coalitions.
