Research

Eric Sanday specializes in Ancient Greek Philosophy. He is currently working on a book-length study of the relationship between politics and ontology in Plato with the working title Return to the Cave: the nature of intelligibility in Platonic philosophy. He is also currently working on Aristotle's account of imagination in relation to Aristotle's account of animal motion, and he is helping put together edited volumes on Heraclitus and Plato's Laws, as well as a Companion to Ancient Philosophy.
