Welcome to the Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky.

The undergraduate mathematics major and minor program offers a foundation for students interested in understanding how to approach problems with mathematical solutions. Graduates of the bachelor program go on to enter a variety of career fields within and beyond the mathematical field. The graduate program offers degree options leading to Master of Arts, Master of Science, and Ph.D.
