Welcome to the Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Kentucky.

In the Department of Chemistry, undergraduate students may pursue a major in chemistry to prepare for professional careers as chemists and/or graduate work or to enter professional health fields, secondary education, and areas such as ecology and patent law.  The department also offers graduate degree programs leading to a Master of Science and/or a Ph.D.
