Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Biology Graduate Program at UK. To be eligible for admission, you must complete both of the steps indicated below. First, you apply to the Graduate School at UK (GRE Instituition Code: 1837 Department Code: 0203). On that application, you should indicate BIOL as the graduate program. You must pay an application fee to complete your application to the UK Graduate School. Second step, you apply to the Biology Graduate Program. When you are done, you should have two application forms on file at UK: one at the Graduate School and one with the Department of Biology. Both applications must be complete in order for you to be admitted to the Biology Graduate Program at UK.

International Students: February 1 for FALL semester; Junes 15 for SPRING semester

The Biology Department begins review of applications on January 1. Please submit your application prior to that in order to receive the benefit of early and complete evaluation.
